Description
“145/100? What? No way that’s right.”
That’s what I told a nurse during my check-up in 2015. My blood pressure has never been that high! When she left, I checked it myself. It came back 140/95. Are you kidding me? There was no way that was right. When I got home, I checked it on my blood pressure monitor: 138/90. Enough righteous indignation. Health expert or not, the numbers were real—it was time to get to work.
One of the top five conditions my readers wanted to know how to deal with is hypertension, informally called high blood pressure. In this audio, I’ll give you clear options to try in diet, exercise, stress management, and supplementation. You can try lifestyle changes in a step-wise manner to see how they affect your blood pressure over a specific time frame. The objective is to put together a strategy that will get your blood pressure down to normal and maybe even get off meds.
You’ll have a plan to follow to get to a healthy blood pressure. I’m not going to pull any punches. You’re going to have to work at it, but I can tell you that it’s worth it.
